Every FFA roadtrip I went on that included Dygert also included counting roadkill. It's still a pastime I use on long drives. Dygert's passion for agriculture and leadership is contagious and has allowed so many Kuna FFA members and alumin to success in many different facets of life. I know that I am a better person for having had him as a teacher and FFA advisor.

I was a sophomore the year Dygert started in Kuna. Over the last 33 years I have watched the ag education and FFA programs evolve to be nationally recognized. This was made possible with Dygert's guidance and leadership to so many students. Three generations of my family's farm support Dygert and his continued leadership.

Dygert roped me into the world of FFA my freshman year of high school, which quickly led to a host of public speaking and floral design experience. Now, 6 years later, I am about to graduate with an Associates of Applied Science in Floral Design, a deep love for horticulture, and a drive to give back to home and community. Myt goal moving forward is to create a space that will contribute to local FFA programs and educate the community about the importance of small-scale and commercial farming and gardening. Dygert's influence 6 years ago has shaped the person I have become, and I could not be more grateful.

Shawn is my son. There is not a more honest and hard-working man to be found anywhere. He has been that way all his life! I encourage you to vote for him.
